Walking the Ward with Gary Flowers

Come join the League of Women Voters of Richmond Metropolitan Area as we venture “Walking the Ward with Gary Flowers” on October 22 10 am – 12 pm!!

Beginning at the Black History Museum & Cultural Center of Virginia, this is a 20-stop walking tour of historic Jackson Ward near downtown Richmond, and includes historic educational, economic, religious, and social institutions that inspired the name, “Black Wall Street, and “The Harlem of the South”, and reflect the Ward’s culturally historic past.
