We have two members who have developed a long-term relationship with the students and staff at the wonderful Meadowbrook High School. Spending at least 2 weeks every year (in the fall and spring) to register and talk with students about how to be an educated voter.
Our league would love to have members who can commit to adopting their own school, building positive relationships around voting, and listening to these young adults! Additionally, schools are on a schedule all their own... so flexibility and patience are key. Don't expect to hear from teachers during the summer!
