A Most Brilliant Woman – Walter W Craige Speaker Series presents Dr. Sandra Treadway

On October 7th at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom St. John’s Church Foundation will have the Librarian of Virginia, Dr. Sandra G. Treadway, give a talk. 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of American women gaining the right to vote. What better way to observe the centennial than to reflect on the efforts of those who worked so hard to secure this important right. In Virginia, the campaign for women’s suffrage began much earlier than many think, launched by an indomitable woman who lived on Church Hill just a few streets away from St. John’s Church. This is a Zoom event and tickets are required.
