Each year, the LWV-RMA celebrates Black History Month. This year our organizers have set up the opportunity for us to see the exhibit “Determined: The 400-Year Struggle for Black Equality”. The group tour begins at 10:00 am, followed by lunch at noon at the Amuse Restaurant at the Virginia Museum of the Fine Arts across the street. The entry charge for History and Culture for non-members is $10 or $8 for seniors.
After lunch those interested can see the free VMFA exhibit “Working Together: Louis Draper and the Kamoinge Workshop,:showing some of the photographs of a Richmond native. Admission to the VMFA is free.
