Toni-Michelle C. Travis is a George Mason University Professor Emerita of government and politics. Her areas of research and teaching have included the race and gender dimensions of political participation, Virginia politics, and American government. She is co-author of Uneven Roads: An Introduction to U.S. Racial and Ethnic Politics (Sage).
