Voting is a Revolutionary Act
Designed in the spirit of the Richmond area’s storied history and the democratic ideals upon which our country was founded. Past generations have fought and died to uphold the rights we enjoy today. We honor their sacrifice by educating ourselves on the issues of the day and actively participating in the political process. As a nonpartisan political organization, the League of Women Voters encourages citizens’ informed and active involvement in civic affairs at all levels.
